Bio
Lael Corbin is an artist working in installation, sculpture and photography. He has exhibited in Los Angeles witht Luis de Jesus Los Angeles, as well as in San Diego at Mark Quint Gallery, Simayspace, L Street Fine Art, Art Produce Gallery, the Oceanside Museum of Art, San Diego State University, University of California San Diego, Point Loma Nazerene University, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. In 2008 he recieved the San Diego Art Prize as an emerging artist, and in 2010 he was the recipient of the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego's Cerca Award. Currently Lael teaches sculpture & photography in the Dept. of Art & Design at Point Loma Nazarene University. He lives in San Diego, Ca with his wife, artist Christina Corbin, and their two children.
On October 13, Lael Corbin's container will be on view at U-T Night & Day Street Festival from 4pm-midnight.
